About Course

Darren D. Moore, Ph.D., LMFT, presents a workshop on Obesity, Eating Behaviors, and Mental Health for foster care and adoptive parents. In this innovative/creative workshop, participants will explore eating behaviors common among foster care children and will learn effective strategies to addressing concerns, within the context of building and maintaining positive relationships within the family system. Adoptive children often present as either obese or malnourished and may have unhealthy relationships with food. During our time together, we will examine obesity and eating behaviors in the context attachment and will specifically explore treatment/solutions for parents.

Eye opening information about eating disorders.
