About Course

Each year more than 10 million children in the United States endure the trauma of abuse, violence, natural disasters, and other adverse events. For Caregivers such as Relatives, Foster Parents, Guardians, Mentors, and others Secondary Traumatic Stress(STS) can result. STS is the emotional duress that results when an individual hears about the firsthand trauma experiences of another. Participants will learn signs and symptoms of STS. Participants will gain awareness into other Mental Health disorders that can result from STS.
Participants will discover Interventions to release and manage STS.
