Ms Knox provides individual, couple, and family therapy to clients dealing with such concerns as: family/relationship conflict, premarital counseling, difficult life transitions, depression, anxiety, sexuality/gender identity issues - including members of the LGBTQ community, grief and loss, eating disorders, trauma, self-harm, and more. I have a background in Family Systems and Experiential Therapy and often incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in sessions. I am passionate about working with people of all ages, nationalities, cultures and orientations. While the therapeutic process looks different for each client, there are two standards that I consistently strive to maintain during sessions: refraining from judgement, and creating a warm place where clients can feel comfortable being and expressing themselves.
