ENT of North GA
Hello! I hope I get the opportunity to serve you for your ear, nose, and/or throat needs. I was born in New York City and am the daughter of 2 physicians that moved to the United States from Korea. We moved to St. Louis where I spent most of my childhood. After I graduated Yale University, I attended the St. Louis University School of Medicine, and then completed my otolaryngology residency at the Tulane University School of Medicine. I moved to Atlanta and joined ENT of Georgia in 2004 and am married with two young children.
No two patients are exactly alike. I believe in listening carefully to each patient. It is my goal to combine my training and experience with my ability to listen to and understand each patient’s unique situation, so that we can find the correct diagnosis and customize a treatment plan that is best suited for each individual.
I am not a proponent of over prescribing medications or being too aggressive with recommending surgery. Sometimes less really is more. I strive to work with my patients to find the ideal solution to their problems by carefully using the right tests to identify the problem and the appropriate procedures to resolve it.
I want my patients to understand what we are doing, and why. Medicine doesn’t have to be a mystery. I do my best to explain medical conditions and procedures in a way that makes sense to my patients. I feel successful outcomes are a result of good teamwork between physician and patient.
I strive to provide compassionate and accessible care. I try to see things from my patients’ point of view. I do my best to be as available and responsive as possible. I am grateful for the privilege of caring for people, as well as the responsibility to help them obtain and maintain good health.
