Welcome to Youth Empowered Solutions
Organization’s History
Youth Empowered Solutions Inc. was established in 2009. It emerged from the collaboration
between the UJIMA GROUP Inc., a Non-Profit Community Outreach Organization and Results
Innovation Technology Training Consultants Inc., a Training Consulting Firm that is located in
Oxford, Georgia. The two organizations combined to form Youth Empowered Solutions. Our
core value is to be inclusive regarding race, geography, gender, sexual orientation or socio-
economic status.
VISION
To provide the YOUTH of America access to the technology, resources and professionals that
can leverage them to become successful citizens and compete in the global economy. We want
every youth in America to have a Post High School Plan that includes career awareness, job
readiness, college or a secondary education plan.
MISSION STATEMENT
To prepare the teens to compete for jobs, post secondary education, leadership programs, and
internships. We provide the best practices in leadership, character, life skills, career awareness,
job readiness, personal vision planning, service learning, identify and leverage the best available
youth and community programs. This will be accomplished by offering a series of workshops,
lectures, counseling and hands on experience.
Target Population
Underserved youth ages 13 to 18 years old. Our primary objective is to provide all youth with a
post secondary plan to be successful.
Resources Available
We have a core staff of professionals in Education, Technology and Youth Development.
Our strategy is to collaborate with the community and other organizations to provide best
available resources and programs.
Programs – Our curriculum was designed using the recommendations from House Bill 400 and
the Building Resources and Individuals Develop Georgia Economy. Leadership and character is
based on the Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens. Post High School Planning utilizes the
GAcollege411 as the primary research tool. FDIC learning model is used for Financial Literacy.
Service Learning Leadership is based on the National Standards for the principles of service
learning. We plan to integrate the latest technology to include Smartphone’s and IPADS, to
enhance the learning experience.
