In his clinical work, Dr. Engen attempts to integrate psychodynamic, cognitive, and contextual-behavioral insights and methods as appropriate to help individuals achieve their goals and a better way of life. His aim is to provide his clients the opportunity to develop a healthier vision of life and view of themselves; identify and cultivate their inner strengths; and ultimately use those strengths to overcome emotional and behavioral difficulties.
