My first priority is to help everyone who walks through my door to feel comfortable, safe and understood. Â I have a passion for helping people heal, whether that is from a traumatic past or event, the hurt of past or present relationships, or crippling emotions they may be experiencing. Â I am especially equipt in helping those who suffer from PTSD, trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, OCD and for those who have not experienced success with traditional talk therapy. Â For this I use EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) due to the effectiveness in providing change when other methods have not been successful.
My Counseling is unique in that I am able to provide a Christ-centered approach for those who desire it, while still applying the latest quality research and techniques used by secular and Christian therapists alike.
Depression & Anxiety/Stress

Through counseling, I am able to help you uncover the negative beliefs that lead to your fears, anxieties and discontentment  while helping you recover motivation, perspective, peace and joy that you once had in your life.
Trauma & PTSD
Many individuals experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. EMDR is an effective method for treating PTSD and trauma.
Relationships
Conflict and hurt in out relationships is unavoidable.  However, we can learn to effectively resolve conflict and restore broken hearts.  This often requires  us to take a look at our past and heal from things that have followed us into our current relationships.  Whether you deal with fear of rejection, causing you to distance yourself from your loved ones, have problems effectively managing your anger, or struggle with expressing any emotions at all, there is hope.  God desires that your relationships reflect the love that He has for you.  We can walk through together what that looks like.
