I’m a with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and groups between the ages of 14 and 65 overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression. As a social worker, I have specialized training in treating complex and historical traumas using therapeutic approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked with diverse populations of queer young adults on college campuses. I taught Gender and Women’s Studies, Cultural Studies, and Ethnic Studies at universities while working at two LGBTQ+ Resource Centers at BGSU and UGA.
