Dyslexia Screenings and Informal Assessments
We conduct screenings using  a few different types of instruments depending on the age of the child and the concerns at hand.  Here are some of the screenings  we offer: The NeuroLearning App by Drs. Brock and Fernette Eide. Comprehensive Test of Phonological Processing, 2nd Edition, also known as the CTOPP-2, Barton Reading and Spelling Screener, Wilson Assessment of Decoding and Encoding (WADE), and informal reading observations.

Parent support
Too often, when children struggle in school, parents struggle as well.  Our  goal  at Rafal Tutoring and Consulting is to HELP parents, not blame them. We offer emotional support as well as information. RTC staff can be available to attend school meetings with you as an advocate, including parent conferences, 504/IEP meetings, and others. We strive to give parents the support they need to get appropriate services and supports for their children. Check our store for a slideshow about preparing for an IEP meeting.
