Integrative Pediatrics
We are now offering integrative pediatrics. We take a more personalized and tailored approach to treating issues such as ADHD, autism, constipation, or anxiety. We offer gene sight testing to help manage medications and other pediatric specialty testing such as comprehensive gut testing, toxin exposures, lyme and mycotoxin testing etc.
Restorative Reproductive Medicine
Helping couples who are reproductive challenged as well as general women’s health is one of my passions! After going through several years of infertility myself, I know how devastating it is to see that negative pregnancy test month after month. We are trained extensively in the principles of NaProTECHNOLOGY which stands for natural reproductive technology. With this approach we spend a great deal of effort and testing in order to truly understand the cause of infertility. In this way, we offer a ground breaking approach of fertility restoration which is proven effective for both infertility and women’s health. We partner with some of the most experienced restorative reproductive surgery across the United States.
Progesterone/Thyroid Managment in Pregnancy
We follow the NaProTECHNOLOGY protocols for thyroid and progesterone monitoring in pregnancy. This includes regular progesterone and thyroid monitoring throughout pregnancy. For over 30 years doctors at the St. Pope Paul VI Institue for the Study of Human Reproduction have recommended supplementation of progesterone during pregnancy for women for various reasons including history of infertility, low progesterone, miscarriage, or history of preterm birth or stillbirth. Research at the institute has shown that progesterone supplementation during pregnancy in women with these risk factors is associated with lower rates of pregnancy complications and preterm birth. There may also be a lower risk of miscarriage, particularly in women who have luteal phase hormonal deficiency prior to conception. We do not provide prenatal care but can refer you to some extraordinary OB-Gyn’s we trust!
Fertility Awareness & Family Planning
I am a Certified Fertility Care Practitioner teaching the Creighton Model system of charting. This is a medically based system of tracking the biomarkers of the woman’s cycle. This method can be used as a method of family planning with up to 96.8% use effectiveness, but it also is helpful in treating a myriad of women’s health issues and infertility. With this charting system you can safely avoid pregnancy but will also learn an immense amount of information about the health of your reproductive system. Additionally, I use your chart to help me understand your hormonal health, perform accurate targeted hormone testing, and to gear treatment timing.
Sports Performance Optimization/Sports Physicals
During my many years as a PT and then orthopedic surgical PA, I saw many injuries caused by poor nutrition, vitamin D, and zinc deficiencies. Issues like gut imbalances, increased intestinal impermeability, and poor nutrition can leave athletes susceptible to injury.
