Who is Eligible?

All Georgia foster children living in DFCS custody are eligible to “shop” in The Bloom Closet. This includes children living in DFCS approved relative placement homes, grandchildren placed into DFCS approved grandparent homes, and individuals over the age of 18 who have signed themselves back into DFCS custody.

What is Available?

Clothing, pajamas, socks, underwear, shoes, books, toys, school supplies, backpacks, baby gear, diapers, toiletries, prom dresses, bicycles, and much more! For boys and girls, sizes baby to adult.

How Many Items Can a Child Have?

Each child receives a week’s supply of clothing that includes a package of new socks and underwear, a pair of pajamas, 1-2 pairs of shoes, 3 toys, toiletries, and school supplies. Children can receive clothing on a quarterly basis or after a growth spurt.
