Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) Development for Parents
About Course
From time to time parents find themselves in a battle with their pre-teen/ teen about chores, grades, behavior and other responsibilities. Often times teens use technicalities to get parents out of giving consequences because their original rule was ambiguous. If you have found yourself in that precarious position you may need to implement a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). A BIP is an agreement between the parent/guardian and the child that outlines Rules and agreed upon consequences. Having a BIP removes ambiguity and puts the responsibility to follow the rules on the child. At this webinar, we will go over the steps to developing a BIP and how to implement it once it is complete.
