Bridging the Gap: The Importance of Birth Parents Visits While in Care

This training will educate adoptive/foster parents of the importance of visits between children and their birth parents while in care. This training will also help parents gain an understanding of children’s responses to visits with birth parents, while also focusing on the benefit of co-parenting between adoptive/foster and birth parents. In addition parents will learn how to identify and manage challenges of visits in an effort to bring rewards to children, birth, adoptive and foster parents.
