Child Development: When to Ask for Help

As an adoptive/foster parent it is critical that you understand all aspects of child development from birth to age four because these are the most critical stages in a child’s development. This training will provide adoptive/foster parents with the skills that they will need to identify potential delays and/or red flags in child development. Knowing behaviors that promote healthy development and developmentally appropriate play will equip adoptive/foster parents with the necessary skill that they need to be an effective parent.
