The course content here is very useful. Practical examples from an informed source. Some of the information was eye-opening, providing a fresh prespective from a foster parent point of view. Extremely helpful to know the need to constantly repeat things that we expect them to know could be related to brain trauma. Thank you for acknowleging how important our roles as foster parent are and the significant impact we are making in the children's kife.

Trauma and brain development was such an eye opener for me as a parent. I am sure I can recall so many traumatic experiences in my life even during childhood. One traumatic experience was when my home was burnt down to ashes and I became sick for such a long time, even lead to hospitalization. Trauma is something that is often taken for granted and as adults we should really learn from the material that was presented to us in this class.
