Ms Katrina Dawson's presentation was a very powerful one. This presentation highlighted the importance of being a good listener. I appreciated hearing about what is considered voluntary and involuntary listening. I also learned that listening is not the same as hearing..

Ms. Katrina Dawson was an excellent instructor. This course "The Art of Listening was an interesting presentation. What I do understand now is that listening is not the same as hearing. I understand that listening requires a concentrated effort both mental and physical. I really enjoyed this class because I now know how I have to improve my active listening.

It takes work to listen to someone who always talk and take a long time to get to the point, but with children I have all the patience in the world because they deserve someone to talk to, and someone that will listen.
