Children and Attachment
About Course
What is Attachment? An attachment is an emotional bond that we form with another person. Attachments are formed in childhood with our primary/first caregivers. These attachments often dictate how we behave in our relationships with others. There are 4 attachment styles that will be discussed during this webinar: Secure attachment, Anxious attachment, Avoidant attachment, and Fearful Avoidant Attachment in which the latter 3 are considered to be insecure attachments. During this webinar, attendees will not only learn about attachment theory, but will also get an in depth understanding of the 4 attachment styles. Attendees will also learn strategies to strengthen and improve their attachment/bond with their child(ren) and others.
