Dr Lakiesha Izzard gave a powerful presentation. Children bullying other children is a terrible thing to do. It leaves a terrible impression on the bullied students such as being worthless, anxiety, depression, emotional disturbance, and in some cases leading to suicide. Parents and foster parents should take the information from this class to help their own children and foster children during such situations.
Amazing!

EXCELLENT
This course was very informative and I really appreciated the information that was given by Dr Izzard. I remembered seeing my daughter coming home and not eating anything but would go straight to bed. First, I thought she was tired but the behavior became a pattern. After conducting some investigations, I found out she was being bullied by a group of girls in her classroom because she was smarter than they were at that time. I went to the school principal, asked for a meeting with her teacher, the girls in the classroom and tried to stop the behaviors that they were inflicting on my daughter. It didn't stop immediately so I asked for a meeting with the parents of these children and brought in the authorities. Acts of bullying can really devastate a child's self values.
Thank you Dr. Izzard for this class.

very informative information
Bullying involves a power imbalance and is different from a one-time fight. It affects many students, especially those in marginalized groups, and can lead to serious mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and even suicidal thoughts. Signs of bullying include physical or verbal fights, pretending to be sick, and emotional distress. Witnessing bullying can also harm mental health. Many places, like Georgia, have laws to protect students from bullying.
