Youth Substance Abuse During Covid-19
Since March 2019, everything in our world has changed. Over the past year, you may have noticed your child has been acting a little differently. Youth are facing greater mental health challenges than ever before, and many may turn to substance use to cope. The COVID-19 pandemic has created a variety of mental health challenges for Youth. Participants will learn Youth Substance risks and warning signs, Youth mental health challenges as a result of COVID, and best resources for youth with Substance challenges.

I was a little disappointed that it took about 35-40 minutes into the training to address what parents can do to help youth struggling with this issue. I wish more examples were given on how to approach this and how to protect other children in the home from this.
