About Allison: She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is licensed by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in the State of Georgia. She is a member of the Georgia Speech and Hearing Association. She worked two years in the Wayne County School system before going into private practice in 2002. She presently is the owner of The Speech Clinic with offices in Waycross, Brunswick and Jesup, Georgia. She is co-owner of the The Speech Clinic of the Coastal Empire on Wilmington Island outside of Savannah, Georgia.
She has speech therapy experience treating a wide range of communication disorders including: speech impairments, pediatric and adult language disorders, fluency disorders, pragmatic disorders, voice abnormalities, pediatric and adult dysphagia, and motor speech disorders. She has worked with numerous populations including: developmentally delayed, autism, traumatic brain injury, hearing impaired, failure to thrive, stroke, ADHD, laryngeal and cancer patients, Down syndrome and other genetic disordered patients. In 2016, she received the ASHA Award for Continuing Education (ACE).
