Kristi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. After two decades of her owning her own business, she decided to pursue her passion for working in the field of mental health. She then graduated with her Master of Education in counseling from Augusta University. Taking her life and educational experiences into consideration, she is committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve emotional well-being. Kristi began as an intern at LifeStance and had the opportunity to work with a wide range of diverse clients with challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and more. She works from a strengths-based perspective to empower individuals to gain the confidence to work through challenges and live authentic lives. She uses practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and insight therapy. Kristi believes in creating a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can openly express themselves without fear of criticism. Her passion for advocacy includes reducing the mental health stigma and affirming all identities. In Kristi’s free time she enjoys spending time with her son and identical twin boys, and her dog and cat.
