The National Alliance for the Metally Ill (NAMI) provides support for families of people with mental illness and advocates for the mentally ill. The Visions for Tomorrow education progam is available in several locations in Georgia for parents of children with mental illness. The course teaches the knowledge and skills needed to cope more effectively, and more information can be gotten from Pat Strode at (770) 234-9347. The class is available in Spanish as well as English.
