Brain Food

Description

Almost everything you choose to consume will directly or indirectly affect your brain. There’s more and more research indicating that, in some ways, diet may influence mood. The ability to concentrate and focus comes from the adequate supply of energy – from blood glucose – to the brain. And when you don’t eat enough nutrient-rich food, your body will lack vital vitamins and minerals, often affecting your energy, mood and brain function. We don’t have the whole story yet, but there are some interesting clues. This presentation will discuss how you can change your diet if you want to try to improve your mood. Ultimately, discussing why why you should be conscious of what your brain is eating.
