Finding the Words: Communication Basics

Many conflicts arise out of miscommunications and misunderstandings. Learning assertive ways of sharing feelings and thoughts can enhance relationships and build self-confidence. This training will focus on the development of assertive communication strategies for children and teens using a step-by-step approach. We will also cover other components of successful communication, including eye-contact, proxemics, and nonverbal cues.
