About Course

Horrific events that have ended numerous lives and the protests and civil unrest that followed illustrate how racism harms our communities and children. Vicarious racism, Secondhand racism witnessed through social media, conversations with friends or family, or media images harms children’s mental health. Participants will understand racism and racial bias, tips to talk to children about racism, mental health effects on children, and therapy that can help children.
