About Course
This course will provide participants with foundational knowledge about child trauma and child traumatic stress. Three types of child trauma are defined. The course focuses on the impact of complex trauma on behavior and development, and helps participants identify strategies for working with children who have experienced trauma.

It was well educated course to take. It taught me a lot of the behaviors I've seen in my placements are cause by the trauma.
Although our foster child came at 18 months, I could sense the distrust because of what he had endured. Thank you for reassuring me that it was normal.
This course was very informative and it also highlighted how important for foster parents to under the level of trauma that children coming into your home might have gone through. It also helped foster parents to examine themselves for what extent of trauma they might have gone through. Putting all the information together I received from this class I considered it excellent.
