Dr Sharnell Myles presented a powerful presentation on how trauma affects a child or even adults lives, It was very important to identify what causes and triggers trauma and the support needed to help someone who might be in a disturbing situation.

Dr Myles presentation was very informative. She gave so much information on trauma and how it affects children. Not knowing and not experiencing the effects of trauma that a child may have experience is very difficult to comprehend. Just imaging a child at a tender age had gone through so much terrible things is very difficult as an adult to comprehend. Therefore, knowing what you know now, should help me as an adult to understand, when a child reacts terribly to an environment or a person to first try to understand what that child might have been through. Thank you so much for the information.
