Webinar: The Invisible Disability:Â Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders
About Course
Recent and reliable studies indicate that one in twenty children in the school classroom have been exposed to alcohol in-utero. Even more concerning is that between 70 and 80 percent of children entering foster care have been exposed. Parenting a child with FASD requires a unique set of skills. In this training, Dr. Mark Andrews of Adoptive Family Resources,Inc. (an affiliate member of FASD United) will discuss the diagnostics and features of FASD, along with practical “tools for the parenting toolbox” to help foster & adoptive parents.

Great
This course was a great match for me, as I am currently fostering to adopt a child that was born to a mother that struggled with drug and alcohol addiction.
Very informative
This course was a good match for my husband and I. We are currently fostering to adopt a precious 12 year old girl who was born to a mother that struggled with drug and alcohol addiction.
