On-Site ABA
No two children or adults with the same diagnosis have the same level of functioning. Therefore, we provide Skill Acquisition and Maladaptive Behavior programs tailored to each individual, based on assessments and defined goals.
We train parents how to implement behavior programs for their child or adult with disabilities. Parent training and participation is a vital part of the success of our programs. We want to empower you as parents to feel like you know what to do in various situations with your child. We can help you come up with learning opportunities throughout the day in order to help your child generalize and master skills more quickly. If we write a behavior plan for your child, then we will train you and show you how to properly implement the plan in a variety of life’s situations.
We also train paraprofessionals and other service providers how to implement the individualized programs to provide behavior consistency.
We provide convenient, on-site services at preschools, elementary schools, organizations, centers, and in the home. If your child needs a facilitator at his/her school, then we can line you up with a therapist who can do that for your family.
Remote Services
Innovative Behavior Options offers remote supervision, training, and observation using a program called Vsee. It is a HIPAA compliant service that offers a way to do free video chats similar to programs like SKYPE. Vsee is ideal for families in remote geographic areas that need short or long-term services.
Vsee is also useful for supervision at times when the supervisor on the case is unavailable to physically be there to observe the session due to scheduling constraints.
Here is additional information on Vsee and the various options that it can be used for with your family:Â https://vsee.com/features
If it is more convenient for your family, then you can also schedule phone consultation appointments with the supervisor on your team in order to provide him/her with additional information in between scheduled appointments.
Toliet Training
If your child is not currently toilet trained and you would like us to work on this particular skill, then please contact us to set up a consultation.
We would assess your child’s current struggles with toilet training and develop a customized plan of action that would be appropriate for your child. We utilize various reinforcers/rewards to make the training process a positive one. The skills are broken down to the level that your child needs in order to help him/her understand what we are asking of him/her. If your child needs additional supports such as signing, pictures, communication device, or tokens, then we can determine that as well. Currently, we have an excellent success rate with toilet training. Our methods for toilet training are intensive, so it is important that your family is fully prepared to assist with the process and be consistent in order to help your child be successful.
