Description:   When individuals are diagnosed with autism, the individual and family are rarely given additional information outside of the initial report.  This can lead to confusion and really leaves families in a position to figure things out on their own.  This discussion will focus on providing education about autism spectrum disorder as well as information about resources that are available.
