This session will cover how to Connect and Communicate with your children within a family setting. We will cover how to communicate in various family settings. And talk about how to communicate with children in youth in different stages of development. Moreover, there will be several resources provided for caregivers to use if wanted after this session. Below are some of the things we will focus on.

Connection– What is the connection? And how do we connect with each other and the children and youth we care for?

Communication- Various forms of negative and positive communication.

Listening- Are we really listening to others? What is reflective listening?

Replying- Why, When, and How We Reply to Others.
